On Tuesday November 15th, 2016 we had a guest speaker in class. Anne Denman, Director at Bardel Entertainment in Kelowna. She had spark and was full of energy she also loves her coffee. Anne talked to us about working in the animation industry, how we could get a job in this business and to prepare ourselves. She said that we had to put our focus into how we can carry ourselves, our ability to network and of course how hard we work. 'What inspires you?' 'you are the friends you keep', 'not what you know it's who'. These are a few things she explained to us in this lecture and i'll always have this in my mind because I feel it will help me in the future.
When she told us the secret of when you go into an interview, it gave me a convenience boost. "These people want to hire you" very inspiring, it might just help me get over my shyness in interviews.
Thanks Anne for taking the time to visit us, it was an amazing experience.
Also Anne is right about Monday's, no one likes Monday's.
